Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and support the programme, policy and campaign work in the field region
  • Establish the linkages with various government department and ministries in Districts and the State/Union territory.
  • Facilitate in achieving programme/project objectives in line with the proposed strategy and planned activities.
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders of the project and ensure timely conduct of planned activities. 
  • Facilitate the team in developing a monthly action plan and participatory process of review and reflection in the project.
  • To support in timely submissions of programmatic and financial reports to the organization and donors (including compliances to inernal audit observations, annual report and budget realization).
  • Coordinate with Finance officer in preparing budget utilization report.
  • Generate periodic reports and other documents (case stories, impact stories and other documents).
  • Facilitate Donor visit whenever as and when required
  • Travel within project area and outside region as per requirement of project and line manager.
  • Be primarily responsible for receiving data related to the project, compilation of data and inferring project related data and facts.
  • Be responsible for any other assignments as assigned by line manager and thematic supervisor based on the project requirements.

Programme Head CO or any other person as may be assigned by the organisation     

Travel

Skills and Competencies

  • Postgraduate in Social Work, Sciences or equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience in education programme and it implementation.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communicational skills.
  • Proficiency in all applications of MS Office, especially SPSS, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizing and coordination skills.
  • High degree of efficiency and willingness to work under pressure.
  • Be a good team player, gender sensitive, having conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups.
  • Knowledge of English/Hindi is desirable. 

Salary Offered

INR 5.50 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)per annum - this includes the PF contribution. It also includes, other benefits-Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff & Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and Gratuity is payable as per the law and norms of the organisation.
